Clean Slate Property Solutions, operating under Slate Consulting Group, buys residential property directly from owners. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or request an offer, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the phone, text and email conversations that follow from it.

Information we collect

When you submit our offer request form, you give us:

Your name, phone number and email address
The address of the property you are considering selling
The situation you selected and your preferred timeline
Any notes you choose to add about condition, occupancy or liens

We also record the page you submitted from and the website or advertisement that referred you, so we know which of our channels sellers are finding us through.

Separately, and without you providing it, we research publicly available property information such as county tax and assessment records, recorded deeds and liens, permit history and comparable sales. This is how we underwrite an offer.

How we use it

To evaluate your property and prepare a written offer
To contact you about that property by phone, text message and email
To carry out due diligence, title work and closing if you accept an offer
To keep records of our transactions as the law requires
To understand which marketing channels bring us sellers

Calls, texts and your consent

By checking the consent box on our form, you agree that we may contact you at the number you provided by phone, text message and email about your property, including through automated dialing or messaging systems. Consent is not a condition of any sale or of any offer we make. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling or emailing by telling us so on a call or by writing to info@slate-cg.net. We honor those requests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to lead buyers or marketing lists. We share what is necessary with:

Title companies, closing attorneys, escrow agents and inspectors working on your transaction
Service providers who run our systems on our behalf, such as our website host, our form and email providers and our customer records system, who are permitted to use the information only to provide that service to us
Other investors from our network, where a transaction involves an assignment of our purchase contract. Where that happens it is disclosed to you in the purchase agreement
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we are in contact with you about a property and for a reasonable period afterward, since sellers often come back to us months later. Records connected to a completed purchase are kept for as long as our legal, tax and title obligations require. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time, subject to those obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect what you send us, including encrypted transmission of form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive identifiers such as your Social Security number or bank details through the website form. We will tell you the secure way to provide those if they become necessary at closing.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep it working properly, to remember your light or dark display preference, and to measure how visitors use the pages so we can improve them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Children

This site is intended for adults who own or have an interest in real property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
